WELCOME TO TURKPAK INTERNATIONAL

TURKPAK INTERNATIONAL (PVT) LIMITED, a joint enterprise of the Governments of Turkey and Pakistan in the field of Engineering Consultancy, was established in 1983 under the Pakistan Companies Act 1913, with its head office at Lahore, Pakistan.

BACKGROUND

Turkey and Pakistan are two developing countries with a highly developed and sophisticated technological base and considerable experience in terms of engineering capabilities. Their collaboration , the first of its kind in the Third World and between two members of the Islamic Conference, have made a tremendous contribution to the development of the entire region, specifically the Muslim States , and countries of the Third World.

TURKPAK is owned by three shareholders.

NESPAK

The Government of Pakistan is represented by NESPAK, or National Engineering Services Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. NESPAK’s track record includes successful implementation of over 2359 projects with a total cumulative capital cost of approximate US $ 140 Billion. NESPAK has at its disposal, the services of about 1800 qualified and experienced engineers, geologists, architects, economists, agronomists and technicians.

NESPAK is Pakistan’s premier Engineering consultancy organization. Its international stature is well established and enjoys the reputation of being one of the top engineering consultancy organizations in Asia and Africa.

NESPAK was established in 1973 as a private limited company by the government of Pakistan. The objectives of its creation were to create a pool of talented engineers, attain self-reliance in engineering consultancy and replace foreign consultants with local professionals. The company has achieved these objectives to a large extent.

TUMAS

Tümaş – Turkish engineering, consulting & contracting co. was established in 1969. Tümaş’ shareholders were Turkish petroleum corporation (tpao), azot industry co., Turkish sugar factories co. (Türkşeker), sugar insurance co. and haldor topsøe a/s (Denmark). 49 % shares belong to state owned companies and 51 % shares belong to private companies. Prime ministry privatization agency (sümer holding a.ş.) took over 49% shares of state-owned companies in 2001 and 51 % shares of private companies were transferred to F. Zafer Heperler.

The main goal for the establishment of Tümaş was to develop Turkish engineering consulting capacity. Today, Tümaş is a well qualified and experienced engineering and consulting firm in performing the required services in all branches of engineering and consulting. 80 % of the services carried out by Tümaş are design, engineering and consulting, the remaining 20 % are studies, master plans, sector studies, regional planning and feasibility studies. Tümaş has been qualified for its services by the international corporations such as World Bank, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Asian Development Bank, Saudi Development Fund (SDF) and Kuwait Fund. Today, Tümaş is also known as an international engineering and consulting company.

TUSTAS

TUSTAS Sinai Tesisler A.S. (Turkish Industrial Plants Corporation) is a leading engineering consultancy firm in Turkey established in 1970, with 64% state and 36% private sector participation. As a result of long years of successful operation, the company has gradually increased its capital to TL 95 billion as of 1997.

TUSTAS had produced over 6.6 million man-hours of engineering consultancy services as of 1997. Consequently, projects and investments amounting to US $ 11.2 billion have been realized whereas the broad experience and knowledge have been accumulated in the company through its seniors experts and professional staff.

In addition, TUSTAS has adapted itself to the fast changing world technology. It has gained experience in selection of developing technologies and their adaptation to Turkey.

RK Associates, Architects, Engineering & Planners

TURKPAK has further strengthened their professional capability and team in the field of architecture and urban design by associating MS RK Associates, architect consultant of Lahore. Established in 1981, with the aim of providing highly diversified and specialized consultancy services in the field of architecture and urban design, RK Associates brings with it an architectural practice of more than three decades of diverse, rich and innovative architectural design works.

Professional activities of RK Associates covers a wide range of consultancy design services in housing, residential, educational, health and other institutional projects, interior design works, offices and commercial design buildings, landscape parks, beautification schemes and urban design along with mosques, monuments, conservation and heritage schemes.

AAA Engineering Consultants (Pvt) ltd. established in 1987, has been providing consultancy services in the field of Engineering, Highways, Roads, & Infrastructure. In addition, AAA Engineering Consultants have a wide experience of Construction of Dry Ports & Design of Infrastructure works.
